Compare documented practices near a sensor station with remotely conducted practices and unattended observation periods.
Exploratory question
How do sensor relationships differ among local activity, remote practice, and unattended observation?
Arrangement
Use a continuously recording station with documented specimen and sensor geometry. Suitable channels include instrumented quartz or piezoelectric response, light, optional ambient ionizing-radiation counts, and environmental measurements. Retain the instrument’s native timing information and clock uncertainty.
Participants choose practices compatible with their beliefs. Local and remote practices need not be assumed equivalent. The record should describe how participants understand the activity and what actually occurs at the instrument location.
Observation modes
- Local: participants undertake a described practice near the station. Record movement, speech, object handling, proximity, lighting, and other physical activity.
- Remote: participants undertake a described practice elsewhere while the station is unattended. Record the intended timing separately from the instrument data.
- Unattended: record periods without a scheduled participating session, while retaining surrounding activity and environmental information.
Exploration can use naturally occurring sessions. A later comparison can schedule practice and no-session windows randomly and keep their labels hidden from the analyst until a chosen analysis is complete. Record scheduling, communication, and any access to live results because these can connect otherwise distant sites.
Relationships to explore
Examine response histories, cross-channel dependencies, and the circumstances in which patterns recur or disappear. Preserve participant accounts separately from instrument measurements. Keep all observation windows, not only those associated with compelling experiences.
A remote association requires examination of shared timing, networks, software, environment, and selection choices. A supposedly untreated station is not automatically unaffected under a proposed global influence, so comparisons must state which assumptions they use.
Observation record and interpretation
Keep the full native instrument records, timestamps, missing intervals, settings, and descriptions of the circumstances. Environmental relationships can be investigated rather than automatically removed. Filtering, correction, and summaries remain separate derived views with their assumptions visible.
Participants may describe their experiences and beliefs in their own terms. Keep these accounts identifiable as reports, distinct from sensor measurements and proposed explanations. Record the actual practice and physical activities without requiring a predetermined result.
A local response includes ordinary effects from people and objects. A remote association alone does not establish transmission, entanglement, or shared quantum consciousness. A null applies to the tested arrangement and sensitivity.
A candidate pattern can be examined in fresh observations and another physical arrangement. Record unsuccessful comparisons and unresolved outcomes as well as interesting responses. The observations need not conform to an expected curve to deserve attention.
